Ashley Walker is a Los Angeles-based photographer, creative director, producer, and artist whose practice moves between fashion, portraiture, and cultural storytelling.

After studying Fashion Merchandising at Howard University and Fashion Marketing at Central Saint Martins, Walker began in retail and product storytelling before spending a decade in New York behind the camera. That foundation—understanding how images live in commerce as well as culture—has shaped work for leading publications, global brands, public institutions, and some of contemporary culture’s most influential artists.

His career has since expanded through luxury e-commerce photography at Mytheresa in Munich, campaign production, civic visual communications for the City of Los Angeles, and Leimert Park Threads, the fashion and art practice he founded in 2017. Walker brings clients more than image-making: he connects concept, product, production, and cultural context into a visual language designed to communicate clearly and endure.
